Today while Lizzie was at school and Mom was out grocery shopping, I decided to watch a horror movie in the living room. It probably wasn’t the best idea since the nightmare from the night before still lingered heavily on my mind. Near the end of it, Eddie came and sat down in the chair across from me. He didn’t say a word…just stared at me. The look on his face sent chills down my spine. “What’s your problem, Eddie?” I asked irritably. He stood up and towered over me. “You.”
“Why couldn’t you just leave it alone? You had to go digging around and sticking your nose in places it doesn’t belong.” His voice was practically dripping with malice as he paced back and forth in front of me. “I just want to know the truth…I want to know w-what really happened to Jennie.” I stuttered. “Don’t you get it? I know where she is. In fact, I can take you to her.” He gave me an evil smile. I looked back at him warily. “What do you mean?”
“I’m going to bury you in the same grave!” He screamed as he lept towards me.
I jumped up and tried to run out of the room but Eddie grabbed a handful of my hair and dragged me back to the couch. I managed to fight him off until I realized that he’d pulled a knife from his pocket…then my whole body stiffened up and my vision grew hazy. “This can’t be happening.” I thought to myself. It was the absolute worst time for a blackout.
